Jacquemus presents "La Croisière": an innovative fusion of fashion and technology

On January 26, 2025, Simon Porte Jacquemus will make a notable return to Paris Fashion Week with his show titled "La Croisière". After several years of absence from the official calendar, the French designer is set to surprise the fashion world by offering a unique experience that combines intimacy, iconic architecture, and technological innovation.


For this presentation, Jacquemus has chosen an exceptional setting: an apartment designed by French architect Auguste Perret in the 1930s, located in the 16ᵗʰ arrondissement of Paris. This venue, never before used for a fashion show, offers a panoramic view of the capital and reflects the minimalist and poetic aesthetic dear to the designer.
 

An unprecedented technological approach

What truly distinguishes this show is the exclusive use of iPhones to capture the event. In partnership with Apple, Jacquemus will integrate around fifteen iPhones 16 Pro Max into the scenography, allowing the show to be filmed live and this immersive experience to be shared with a global audience. This initiative recalls the brand's beginnings, where Simon Porte Jacquemus used his iPhone to share moments of his daily life and work, thereby strengthening the personal connection with his followers.

An intimate and exclusive experience

Unlike the brand's previous grand shows, "La Croisière" will be presented in front of a select audience of 45 handpicked guests. This intimate setup will allow guests to experience the creations up close while highlighting the architectural details of the Perret apartment. Jacquemus's last appearance at Paris Fashion Week dates back to January 2020 for men's fashion and March 2019 for women's fashion. Since then, the brand has chosen to present its collections outside the official calendar, in iconic locations such as the Villa Malaparte in Capri or the gardens of the Palace of Versailles. This return marks a new step in the evolution of the house, which continues to push the boundaries of creativity and innovation.
